Page Six of The New York Post reports the Pink Floyd founder will tie the knot with longtime fiancée Laurie Durning before he hits the road early next year for his “Wall Live” tour. After a seven-year engagement, Durning told the Post, “It just seems like a good time to do it before the tour.”
The couple is shopping for a new engagement ring to replace one Durning lost in London after Waters popped the question. As for the event itself, Durning says she’ll only have close friends at a “private and low-key” ceremony.
The Wall Live 2012 tour will begin on May 1st in Houston, Texas at the Toyota Center, playing 36 shows across North America, including several outdoor stadium performances with state of the art modifications transforming the arena production into magnificent outdoor events.
