For Lenny Kravitz fans who have eagerly awaited post-It Is Time for a Love Revolution tracks, the wait is over.

Kravitz has announced that his ninth studio album, Black and White America, will drop August 30. The funk-flavored album is Kravitz's first on Atlantic Records/Roadrunner Records, and the disc's first single, "Stand," will hit radio June 6. Kravitz produced, wrote and arranged the 16 songs on the release.

Kravitz has also confirmed a series of concerts in conjunction with the release of Black and White America, including performances on the Toyota Concert Series on NBC's Today Show on September 2, The Late Show with David Letterman on August 30 and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on September 1.

That's not to mention a pending world tour later this year and dates with U2 beginning on June 4, playing stadiums on the West Coast.
